Why Are You Surrendering / Rehoming?
I don’t have time for my bunny.
Short on time? Simple setup changes like litter-training, using a larger litter box, and choosing the right litter can greatly reduce daily cleaning. Providing a bonded companion can also help, as rabbits entertain and comfort each other — and caring for two rabbits is often no more demanding than caring for one.
I’m struggling financially to look after my bunny.
Caring for a rabbit doesn’t have to be expensive. Their core needs are simple, and many essentials — like litter alternatives, enrichment, and hideouts — can be sourced for free or at very low cost. Buying hay and pellets in bulk or from feed stores can also significantly reduce ongoing expenses.
My bunny is destructive.
