Our Adoption Process
Adopting a rabbit is a wonderful way to give a loving animal a second chance. Our adoption process is simple and designed to help you find the perfect match. From submitting an application to meeting your future furry friend, we’ll guide you every hop of the way!
1. Apply Online
Start your adoption journey by filling out our easy online application form. This helps us understand your lifestyle, experience, and what you're looking for in a rabbit companion, so we can find the best match for you.
2. Home Check
Next, send us videos of the bunnies’ living areas. This is simply to make sure your space is safe, secure, and bunny-friendly. We’ll also answer any questions you may have about setup or care.
3. Meet & Greet
Once your application is approved, we’ll invite you to meet the rabbits that best suit your family and home. This is an exciting step where you can interact with potential matches and get to know their personalities.
4. Adopt
When you’ve found your perfect bun, it’s time to bring them home! We’ll guide you through the final steps, including signing the adoption agreement and paying our adoption fee of R550 per rabbit.
Our Requirements to Adopt
To ensure our rabbits thrive, each bunny needs a minimum living space of 3m x 2m x 1m. We usually adopt out in pairs, unless you already have a rabbit that is ready to find a partner. All rabbits will be sterilised before adoption, and if not – adopters are required to follow our sterilisation procedure. Adopters must provide safe, appropriate housing along with love and care. These requirements help ensure every bunny enjoys a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life in their new home.
